The great thing about trivia is that you get to learn something new about your teammates and identify common interests as we work through the Q&A.
It’s crazy how many times I’ve seen this happen:
“Oh, I didn’t realise you loved Lord of the Rings, I do too! Let’s be friends.” – away they sail off into the sunset
Great for corporate groups, schools, or sports clubs. I have 4 regular rounds:
I write every single Yarnberg Trivia question and endeavor to craft the Q&A about stuff people love. Less “who did the thing in 1932” and more “What was Gretchen Weiner trying to make happen that’s never going to happen in Mean Girls?” or “Finish the lyric. Never made it as a wise man…”
I also throw in something a bit different for the 5th round that you might not find elsewhere:
Yarnberg also offers themed trivia nights if you’re keen to really lean in. Rock N Roll Trivia is a great night with a special Pick The Riff game on the electric guitar and a decades of rock style Q&A set to really look back on all belters we grew up with.
I am regularly hosting at pubs around Melbourne alongside my long time partners Grape Vine Events.
I host general knowledge trivia at the Sporting Globe Knox every Wednesday night and monthly themed trivia at TGI Fridays in Frankston.
With busking licences in both Melbourne and Frankston you might catch Jacob on the streets going full Disney princess or belting out a few pub rock classics.
